Hi Holly, Firstly I love how you have set the assignment out. It is very clear and easy to to read through. I have had a quick glance into the annual report you have discussed and your queries into the reduction of a lot of items. It may be worth mentioning that they have discontinued one of their branch companies ‘Steel Europe’ I think it was who employed around 27k employees. I imagine this would have a huge impact.

Thanks Loree, that’s amazing! I was under the impression that Steel Europe was the company Thyssenkrupp and Tata Steel were going to form in a joint venture. Where did you read about it? That’s definitely going to help me understand more!

Hey Holly your assignment was really well laid out and detailed I was surprised to see they saw a cost of saless of 29.8Billion that year. Your reflection with the link to the more widespread use of afterpay being a form of accrual accounting was excellent. Maybe in your KCQ’s have something about brexit affecting Europes market and trade which would include the steel industry an article i found was talking about how it would lead to a 50% reduction in European exports to the UK. But your assignment was extremely well done and presented.
